Big Peat is back to commemorate Islay's annual Malt and Music Festival!
The 2018 Feis Ile release of Big Peat is a limited release of only 500 cases and bottled at 48% ABV.
The bottle features a sticker sheet inside for consumers to customize their own gift tube which is a first for scotch whisky.
Tasting notes..
Nose: Initially dried seaweed then comes barbecued meats and golden syrup.
Palate: Smoked barley with damp leather, chimney soot and a hint of lemon rind.
Finish: Long and moreish with a sea-salt tang plus streaky bacon and charred oak.
