Feis Ile is THE whisky festival, The Islay Festival of Music and Malt. Held in the last week of May every year. Every year we're honored to travel across to visit all our Ileach friends for a few special drams! This year we extended our trip and managed to make the most of the roasting hot weather. Visiting Bruichladdich, Laphroaig, Bowmore and Kilchoman for their open days we made sure to take in everything the Distilleries had to offer - this included a special tour at Kilchoman which gave us an insight on where the Distillery is going (Exciting times ahead). All in the trip was a terrific success, the reason we go is that for a number of years the distilleries have produced special bottles for the Feis, these bottles are often highly limited and not many people can make the journey over. There is a small amount of bottles we did manage to acquire and they can be found below.
