About Dallas Dhu Distillery:
Dallas Dhu was built by Alexander Edward in 1898 and was originally named 'Dallasmore'. It was sold to Wright & Greg Ltd in 1899 and renamed Dallas Dhu. Production started on 29th May 1899 and the first cask was filled on 3rd June. The distillery was operational until 1983 and has been a whisky museum since 1992. Aceo Distillers have plans to reopen the distillery.
