About Glenlochy Distillery:

Founded in 1898 in Fort William by David McAndie, Glenlochy Distillery was supplied water by the River Nevis. It closed during the first world war and didn't reopen until 1937 when it was aquired by Joseph Hobbs. It continued production until World War II. In 1954 the distillery was sold to DCL and closed in 1983 due to the drop in demand.
