Kininvie Distillery, located within The Balvenie Distillery complex, was established in 1990 by the William Grant & Sons company. Known for its relatively small scale and production, it primarily produces whisky for blending purposes, particularly for Grant's blends. The distillery is unique in that it operates with a focus on high-quality single malt whisky, but much of its output is not typically released as single malts. Kininvie's whiskies, when released, are highly regarded for their smooth, refined character and have become popular among whisky enthusiasts.
