This year’s 12 year old cask strength kicks off with notes of marzipan, smoked meats, and a smokiness akin to burnt matches.
The smoky, earthy note continues on the palate and a nuttiness is introduced in notes of pistachios. Notes of caramelised brown sugar, prunes and custard round out this dram.
A sea salt note emerges in the finish along with notes of red apple skin.

Matured in 70% ex-bourbon and 30% ex-sherry casks then bottled at the natural cask strength of 57.2% ABV
