anCnoc 2009 Vintage Release

Their Vintage expression has become a tradition at anCnoc and their Vintage 2009 is a fitting testimony to the time-honoured methods employed in the production of this traditional yet distinctly modern single malt.

anCnoc Vintage 2009 has been matured in Spanish and American oak casks and has been bottled in its most natural form, neither coloured or non-chill filtered. As a result this dram may develop a light haze with the addition of water or if kept at a cold temperature. This haze is a natural characteristic of whisky that is non chill-filtered.

Tasting notes:
Colour: Bright Golden.

Nose: Delicate spices of American oak, with notes of citrus, green apples and sweet toffee. All wrapped up in the classic honey and citrus flavours which are typical of anCnoc single malt whisky.

Taste: Rich spiciness, sweet green apples, dark chocolate with hint of butterscotch which adds more complexity to this fine single malt resulting in a smooth and delicate finish.
