Ardbeg Blasda Limited Edition

Ardbeg may be famed for packing a peaty punch, but there is more to this Islay malt than meets the eye (or indeed nose or tastebud). To prove it, Ardbeg Distillery undertook an experiment: to tone their usual mighty peating level and allow Ardbeg's 'lighter' qualities to shine. the happy result is Blasda, which in Gaelic meanis 'sweet and delicious'.

With the peating level toned down to 8 parts per million (8ppm) in the bottle, Blasda unmasks the delicious sweetness of sherbet vanilla, chocolate limes and the ethereal floral fragrance that is inherent in all expressions of Ardbeg.
