Tasting notes:
Nose: Toasty malt, spicy fruits, sweet smoke.
Palate: Fruitcake, smoky caramel, oak char.
Finish: Lingering peat, soft toffee, gently spice.
After nearly three years maturing in a freshly emptied oloroso sherry hogshead. The fruits and spice from the European oak has integrated beautifully with this peaty Highlander, producing wonderful depth and sophisticated character - a boisterously displaying the art of maturation.
