Newly released towards the end of 2015.
This new expression is aimed at Whisky aficionados, the new expression is double cask matured for 12 years in traditional American White Oak bourbon barrels and then finished in rich European half port pipes.
Non-chill filtered.
Official tasting notes:
Nose - Initial nose of strawberries and summer fruits with a hint of pepper.
Palate - Sweet red apple and honey with the subtlest hint of charcoal smoke.
Finish - Initially smooth with a long, lingering finish culminating in the trademark Ardmore dryness.
Distilled at Ardmore Distillery, Kennethmont, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
