This release from Ardnamurchan Distillery is a peated single cask.
Only 662 bottles have been produced.
Matured in a peated first fill American oak, oloroso sherry butt.
Unchill-filtered / natural colour
Tasting notes:
Nose: Red plum, capsaicin, barbeque sauce, pickled jalapeno. Hickory wood and beef jerky. Concord grape jelly and seaweed. Dr Pepper, cola bottles, strawberry coulis, blackcurrent leaf.
Palate: White grape juice, beach pebbles, tomato chutney, fatty avocado, deciduous forest and the sweet brine of a freshly shucked scallop. Ashy, rich and spicy.
Finish: Beautifully round and full, lingering finish.
