Details
It's that time of year again when you hear us use words like 'bite', 'swarm' and 'persistent', but in a good way. After a sell-out first edition, AD/ The Midgie is back! As promised, this year's recipe is different from last year's. The Ardnamurchan 50/50 peated/unpeated base DNA is still there, but they have layered this with unpeated ruby port barriques which bring with them a decadent, fruity funkiness. They've rounded the batch off with a luscious peated sherry butt. Bottled at 48% ABV, Batch 2 of The Midgie is the very first Ardnamurchan single malt with port cask maturation produced!
