Tasting notes:
The nose opens so sweet and barley-rich initially, then comes a slight saltiness with damp wood and gentle spice. Anticipate a creamy, mouth-coatingly thick palate . . . Vanilla, nutmeg and buttery pastry balanced by dried seaweed. The finish shows salted caramel alongside apple peel, honey and a sweet earthy quality.
