Arran Signature Series Edition 1, Remnant Renegade

This edition, hand selected by Distillery Manager Stewart Bowman, is a selection of Arran Single Malts which showcase the diversity of their spirit and the values which are important to them.

‘Remnant Renegade’ is the first bottling of this edition. It is a marriage of a selection of remnant casks - Ex-Sherry Hogsheads, Ex-Sherry Butts and Ex-Bourbon Barrels from across the Arran portfolio between as early as only a couple of years after they started distilling to as recently as 2017. Specially selected and blended by Distillery Manager Stewart Bowman bearing his seal of approval. Distilled and matured at Lochranza.

The series begins with Edition 1 at 46% Vol, and as always non-chill filtered and with no added colouring.

Tasting notes:
Nose: Toffee apples, vanilla, cinnamon spice, really clean and prominent orange blossom notes, star anise.

Palate: Silky smooth and balanced, light liquorice, menthol herbs, honey.
