One of Scotland's newest Whisky Distilleries was opened in Lochranza on the Island of Arran in 1995.
Nearly 20 years on, and they have become a saught after brand, producing lovely whisky.

Arran captures the character of the beautiful island - clear mountain water and soft sea air. In the past, illicit stills abounded on the island, hidden in remote glens and the Arran malt was renowned as being one of the finest in Scotland. Now the Arran malt is reborn using only traditional wooden washbacks, copper stills and matured in oak casks.
