Auchroisk is midway between Rothes and Keith, Speyside. Pronounced 'Oth-rusk'.
Tasting notes:
Colour - Dark straw.
Nose - Fresh and fruity with ripe plum and kiwi aromas. Toasted malt and subtle herbal notes with hints of old leather and aniseed.
Palate - Peppery initially with stewed plums and lemon flavours. A lingering milk chocolate edge develops.
Body - Light to medium.
Finish - Medium.
Cask type - Refill Sherry Hogsheads.
Distilled 1996 at Auchroisk Distillery, Selected, matured and Bottled by Gordon & MacPhail
