A whole box of spices, sandalwood and honey mix with lighter aromas of pineapple and maybe Lipton Peach Ice tea.
A rich and rounded dram, spotted dick cake, hazelnuts, raisin bread, butterscotch and orange gummies.
The sweet breadiness fades slowly leaving vanilla, oak and a touch of cloves in it’s wake.
Details
Auchroisk is a completely un-peated Speyside whisky famous for producing a stunning single malt. The bulk of this liquid has historically been the heart of some pretty famous blends. However, we are pleased to say that some of this really lovely distillate does find it’s way to the independent whisky world and Uncharted Whisky can create some pretty marvellous indy whisky with it. This is a part of the job which they love- taking great spirits, matching them with hand selected maturation wood, and showing off a distillery character often lost to blending and chill-filtration.
