Details
White grapes from the Cognac region in France are the basis for the wine which is used to produce Cognac, Their VSOP Triple Cask acquires its originality through a three stage ageing process over a minimum of 4 years. First aged in small oak casks, the aux-de-vie are then "married" to be aged together in large casks. Finally, to reach optimal oxygenation, their VSOP is transferred for refining in small oak casks. This third stage brings out the roundness and elegance of this cognac.
Nose: Aromas of mature wood, vanilla, dried fruits (apricots, almonds, hazelnuts and dates), banana and oriental spices.
Mouth: A nice balance between fruitiness and woodiness.
Finish: Good aromatic structure which reveals the elegance of the Petite Champagne and the fruity notes of the Fins Bois.
