The replacement for the seriously popular 1997 Balblair, this time distilled in 1999 and bottled 2016.
This outstanding 15 year old Single malt is a small batch release from John Macdonald's hand selected choice of only the finest 2nd fill Ex Bourbon and 1st fill Ex Oloroso Sherry Casks which were laid down in the traditional Balblair Dunnage warehouses on the banks of the Dornoch Firth in the year 1999.
Aromas of Honey and green apples develop into rich notes of fruity Christmas Cake with lovely wafts of spice and vanilla.
