Balvenie 1993 DCS Chapter 3
Details
The Balvenie DCS Compendium Chapter 3 celebrates the master craftsmanship of The Balvenie Malt Master, David C. Stewart MBE, who must control an ever-changing set of variables that impact on the maturation of their precious aged stocks. The chapter is comprised of five extremely rare single cask single malt bottlings, including a 55-year-old European oak Oloroso sherry hogshead from 1961 – The Balvenie’s oldest whisky to ever be released to the public. This chapter is as much an explanation of the arcane decision-making processes of maturation and stock management as it is a personal memoir of David’s life in whisky.
This Balvenie 1993 earns a spot for sure in Chapter 3.
