Malt Master David Stewart is one of the most respected experts when it comes to marrying whisky casks.
Following on from his highly regarded Tun 1509 and Batch 3, comes Tun 1509 Batch 4.

A marriage of 23 casks all were Sherry Butts and Traditional Casks and 21 years and older

Tasting notes...
Nose: Rich & malty, sweet toffee vanilla fudge. Layers of honeycomb and citrus notes ending in some mild oak spices
Taste: Very syrupy with luscious malty notes and concentrated honey. The initial sweetness gradually develops into deeper richer oak withsome dried fruits and a cinnamon and ginger spiciness
Finish: Luxurious and honeyed with delicate spices and oak
