The Tasting Notes
The nose has butter candy, ripe fruits (apple, peach, banana), lemon sherbets, fior di latte ice cream, shoe polish and soot.
The palate is fab, and very Ben Nevis – fruity, funky, oily and mineralic. They find orange, plum, honeycomb and beeswax, chalk, chartreuse and spearmint.
The development feels super-precise and surprisingly coastal, with green lemons, liquorice and salt.

They've bottled a few Ben Nevises now, and they’ve all been quite different. This one’s certainly the most fruity and elegant of the bunch, and while the low-ish cask strength makes it an easy dram, it’s full of nuance and interest.
