This is one of only 689 bottles, and has a wee story!
Distilled into casks in June 1966, and matured at the distillery, who had themselves went through a number of ownership changes.
In September 1998, it was bottled into 750ml bottles for the US market. Luckily for us, the sale didn't happen, and lay forgotten in the Ben Nevis Warehouses. Stock was recently discovered and re bottled into 700ml bottles for this 'Forgotten Bottlings' series.
Will more come from this series - who knows?!
