BenRiach has all the traditional charm of a Speyside Distillery. Built in 1898, BenRiach is one of the few distilleries with its own on-site floor maltings, and draws its water from the Burnisde Springs.
Tasting notes for this 25 Year Old BenRiach Whisky:
Nose - Rich honey, spices, apples and peat, in combination with superb oak-wood notes.
Colour - Rich golden.
Taste - A rich cocktail of honey, Oloroso Sherry, cocoa and apples, supported by a fascinating presence of citrus, sweet peat and wonderful wood notes.
Ideal to be paired with Speyside Chocolate from Chocisky.
