Nose
Honey'd barley gives way to dark toffee and equally dark chocolate shavings.
Palate
Oily and thick . . . detect mocha, spiced oak and just a touch of dried fruits with brown sugar.
Finish
So long - cocoa develops to sawdust which develops to plums and raisins.

This Provenance from Benrinnes Distillery has been charged from one sherry butt. It was distilled in May 2014 and bottled in January 2023. One of only 798 bottles from single cask DL17040.
