They sourced a red wine barrique from the first growth Chateau which sits 4km south of Pauillac, Bordeaux and filled it with sherry matured Blair Athol single malt. The whisky was finished for a further 18 months to allow those red wine notes to meld with the sweet butterscotch of this glorious single malt.
