Braeval - originally called Braes of Glenlivet prior to 1995.
Tasting notes:
Colour - Pale gold.
Nose - Delicate Sherry influences with herbal notes and hints of lemongrass. A touch of elderberry and kiwi fruit develops.
Palate - Black cracked pepper initially on the palate with sweet strawberry, raspberry and milk chocolate flavours.
Body - Medium
Finish - Medium and Sweet.
Cask type - Refill Sherry Hogsheads.
Distilled 1995 at Braeval Distillery, Selected, matured and Bottled by Gordon & MacPhail.
Bottled 2013.
