The Tasting Notes
Nose
Figs, Medjool dates, raisins, apricot pastry, cinnamon, candied ginger, and a hint of sherry sulfur.
Palate
Candied ginger, baking spices, treacle toffee, toasted coconut, and rich dried fruits.
Finish
Long and warming with dark chocolate, tart cherries, sea salt, cinnamon, stewed fruits, plum chutney, and lingering sherry sulfur.
Details
This Braeval single malt was distilled in 2014 and bottled at 12 years old by Thompson Bros. This release was matured in a 1st Fill PX Hogshead and is One of only 299 bottles produced. This release was bottled in 2026 with natural colour and without chill filtration.
