This release is part of Bruichladdich's ongoing exploratory Micro Provenance series of single casks, carefully selected to examine the subtle influences that shape their Islay single malt Scotch whisky.

The single cask demonstrates the essence of provenance, highlighting how factors such as barley type, growing region, humidity, climate, distillation, cask, age and location all combine to create the unique character of the whisky. No one factor dominates, but together they create exquisite complexity.

This bottling comes from Barley type: Concerto, matured in a 1st Fill Bordeaux cask (Cask No. 3127), distilled on 13th April 2015 and bottled on 25th March 2025. It is a rare release, with only 233 bottles produced.
