Bruichladdich 30YO Director's Special Single Malts of Scotland
The Tasting Notes
Standing in a in garden summer with tones of elderflower, nettle, cordial and honeysuckle intermingling with an earthy undertone. Notes of gingerbread mix and light aniseed give an indication of the rich body to come.
Honey water with more of the herbs; tarragon and mint expand across the palate while a wonderful delicate spice and cake batter coat the tongue while lemon and orange oil balance the inherrent sweetness.
Lingering spice and elderflower seem to layer and linger on the palate as the sweetness slowly dissipates.
