A bottling from the CULT Octomore range. The second release of Octomore of Octomore - Octomore whisky made from Barley grown two miles along the coast from the distillery at Farmer and friend James Brown's Octomore Farm.
Distilled in 2010 from grain harvested on Lorgba field the previous summer, peated to 169ppm and matured on Islay in American Bourbon Barrels and Spanish wine casks of Ribera del Duero.
A character which is elegant, powerful, deep and proud.
Walking an Islay beach with the wind at your back. Salt laden sand blowing past your feet. Returning home to a peat fire and the warmth of the family hearth. Contentment.
