“Turas Math” in Scots Gaelic, is the beginning of the journey. Setting sail on a voyage filled with hope, adventure and excitement for the return to the familiar shores of Bunnahabhain Bay. Just as a ship's journey begins with preparation, their journey starts with the meticulous selection of ingredients: the finest barley, mineral rich water from the Margadale Spring, and hand-selected casks transported to their Islay home and laid to slumber in their coastal warehouses.

They set sail on a journey of flavour exploration – and this limited release has charted an interesting course. Spirit first distilled in 2008, fully matured for 15 years in Manzanilla Sherry casks from Jerez, synonymous with their signature distillery style, then masterfully married with spirit that has spent the first 10 years in refill casks, then finished for 5 years in Amarone wine casks, the bountiful rewards from an adventure to the Veneto region in Italy.
