The third/fourth release in Douglas Laing's XOP 'The Black Series'
Released at the same time as the Mortlach, hence the 3rd / 4th release
This Black Cambus is a Vintage 1979, and aged for 40 years before being bottled in September 2019.
Official Tasting Notes:
Nose: Treacle Toffee with vanilla and a warming, spiced oak quality on the nose.
Palate: Tropical fruits immediately on the palate then comes clotted cream on warm, buttery scones.
Finish: The finish lingers long with cinnamon, brioche bread and honeyed cereal
Distilled at Cambus, and bottled by Douglas Laing.
