Distilled July 1978, bottled December 2018, from one Refill Barrel- DL12987 Natural Cask Strength, Natural Colour - No Chill Filtration.

Official notes from Douglas Laing:
The nose shows its USA barrel heritage with vanilla, corn oil and bourbon. The palate is so dulcet, sugared and gently spiced, plus a later mocha quality. Catch early oak on the finish, ahead of more spices , barley sugar and custard.
