This Caol Ila is a Vintage 1991, and aged for 30 years before being bottled in September 2021.
Official Tasting Notes:
Nose: The sherried heritage is apparent with stewed fruits and allspice then comes Islay peat smoke and dark chocolate.
Palate: Wonderfully thick and moreish with damp autumn leaves, spiced oak, a leathery sweetness and bonfire ash.
Finish: Lingers on and on with burnt brown sugar and mocha developing to cured meats and an earthy style.
One of only 190 bottles available worldwide.
