Nose
Jalapeño, green pepper, guindilla chilli, pickled walnut, preserved lemon, banana, vanilla custard, and condensed milk.
Palate
BBQ embers, smoked butter, oyster shell, coastal peat smoke, and sweet cream.
Finish
Long and warming with herbal vermouth, wood shavings, and lingering smoke.
Details
This Caol Ila single malt was distilled in 2013 and bottled at 13 years old by Thompson Bros. This release was matured in a rejuvenated hogshead and is one of only 212 bottles produced. This release was bottled in 2026 with natural colour and without chill filtration.
