Chateau Fleur De Lisse Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2019
The Tasting Notes
Opulent and saturated aromas of chocolate and mocha, complex, vibrant red fruits, and a light but delicious herbal note that includes jasmine
A rare, light and supple beauty. Flavors of mint, mocha, and black cherry on the midpalate and caramel on the finish. Pair with lasagna, or lentils and burrata.
Details
Climate:
After a rainy spring that caused coulure and millerandage, a heatwave arrived at the end of June, quickly causing the vines to suffer. For these various reasons, ripening was uneven. A winemaker's vintage, where observation and expertise allowed us to make the right choices at every moment. We harvested the Merlots and then the Cabernets almost continuously.
APPELLATION: Saint-Emilion Grand Cru
VINEYARD AREA: 8.65 hectares
AVERAGE AGE OF VINES: 40 years
