Clynelish 2000 Connoisseurs Choice - Bottled 2015

From Gordon & MacPhail's fantastic Connoisseurs Choice range, this Clynelish was distilled back in 2000 and bottled in 2015.

Colour - Pale Gold.
Nose - Sweet with sherry influences with, marzipan and beeswax polish. With water delicate sherry aromas mingle with plum skin, prune and subtle liquorice notes. An undertone with rose petals combine with hints of charred oak.
Palate - White pepper initially followed by stewed apple, banana and grapefruit with hints of oak. A creamymilk chocolate edge develops. With water peppery with red apple, banana and cinnamon flavours complimented by milk chocolate and orange zest.
Finish - medium and smooth.

Cask Type - Refill Sherry hogsheads.
