Lemon zest, grapefruit peel, lime, marzipan biscuits, caramelised barley, Galia melon, pineapple, and canvas wax.
Palate
Citrus, grapefruit peel, green olives, pineapple juice, lemon meringue pie, crème anglaise, beeswax, and honey.
Finish
Long and creamy with citrus oils, honey, and caramelised barley.
Details
Distilled at Clynelish Distillery in Brora, this 8 year old single malt was matured in refill hogsheads, producing a classic Sutherland style with the distillery's signature oily, mineral and waxy character.
Vatted from a small selection of casks and bottled by Thompson Bros, it is presented without chill filtration or artificial colouring.
