Craigellachie 8 Year Old, Dram Mor Single Cask #300594
Craigellachie's distillery, designed by Charles Doig, was buit in 1890 and had all modern conveniences with the express intention of making a lighter fruitier character than the older distilleries, which includes such unusual yet very desirable notes of pineapple. It was great for blending in such iconic Scotch brands like White Horse. Long fermentation has prevailed and tropical and floral aromas emerge in the mature spirit. In 2014, Dewar's relaunched Craigellachie as a single malt brand.
