Aged in 1st fill bourbon casks, this exquisite Deanston has been resting in the heart of their distillery, in their unique vaulted warehouse, for 18 long years. The American white oak barrels that once held a sweet bourbon, have imbued their whisky with a golden caramel hue, and the characteristic flavours of smooth vanilla and honey.
Colour: Caramel gold.
Nose: Aromatic floral, grassy and malty, balanced with notes of American oak, honey, tobacco and nutmeg.
Palate: Sweetness of gingerbread, vanilla and barley sugar, with spicy white pepper, manuka honey and citrus.
Finish: Dry spice and honeyed ginger warmth.
