Deanston 2006 12 Year Old Fino Cask

This richly rewarding single malt is the perfect demonstration of their expertise and endeavours. Senior blender Dr. Kirstie McCallum made the inspired decision to finish a bourbon-matured Deanston malt in premium Fino Sherry Casks for the first time ever.

For more than two years, their limited edition lay building character in the peaceful depths of their distillery. The result is a deep amber dram filled with caramel, honey and unmistakable traces of dry fino herbs and spices.

Colour: Deep amber gold

Nose: Scents of meadow and herb garden, interwoven with tropical fruit, honey, caramel and gentle spice.

Palate: Honey and citrus notes dance lightly on the tongue alongside currants, dates and figs. With just a hint of herby spiciness and toffee.

Finish: Refreshingly dry, imbued with the subtlest echoes of fruit and spices.
