Depaz Plantation Rhum Agricole
In Martinique, since 1651, at the foot of Mount Pelee volcano and at the edge of St. Peter's Bay, the Habitation The Mountain produces cane to sugar on exceptional lands bathed in Zunshine.
In 1902, everything was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Pelee. 7 years later, Victor DEPAZ revived the Habitation, the Plantation The Mountain then the Distillery that carries since the name Depaz.
Aged for at least 3 years.
Tasting Notes:
Appearance – Golden yellow colour, golden almond. Nose – A rum with a rich, complex range of aromas. A blend of subtle notes of vanilla, coconut and chocolate. Notes of fruit and spices. Prune, candied fruit, nutmeg, cinnamon.
Palate – Marked woody notes from barrel ageing. Aromas identifcal to those foun don the nose. Good roundess and a very pleasant finish.
