Depaz Port Cask Finish Hors D'Age Rhum Agricole

In Martinique, since 1651, at the foot of Mount Pelee volcano and at the edge of St. Peter's Bay, the Habitation The Mountain produces cane to sugar on exceptional lands bathed in Zunshine.

In 1902, everything was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Pelee. 7 years later, Victor DEPAZ revived the Habitation, the Plantation The Mountain then the Distillery that carries since the name Depaz.

Aged for at least 8 years and finished for 11 months in Port Casks.

Tasting Notes:
Nose – Mature rum with a complex wealth of aromas, finished in old port casks.
Palate – Initial aromas: delicately oaked notes structured with vanilla, chocolate and fig jam. Subsequent aromas: a touch of mature port, hazelnut and dried fruit notes, gourmet cocoa and rose jam.
