This Fleurie hails from the northern reaches of Beaujolais, where the steep vineyards are rooted in pink granite soils. These more acidic soils tend to yield wines that are lighter, more elegant, and often among the most graceful in the region.
Crafted by Dominique Piron from vines averaging 50 years in age, this Fleurie shows a refined mineral edge. Compared to the softer, more easygoing Brouilly, it offers a touch more structure and depth—a wine with charm and a bit of gravitas.
