Fettercairn Warehouse 2 Batch #4

The fourth release in The Collection, Warehouse 2 Batch No.004 has been crafted using a handpicked selection of first and second fill American and Hungarian oak casks; filled with spirit that flowed from the Fettercairn stills in 2014 and has since been maturing in Fettercairn Warehouse 2.

It is a rare and remarkable single malt shaped by its maturation in its own unique dunnage environment and then crafted through the expert combination of three different cask types to reveal a whisky of distinctive character – one displaying the wonderful Fettercairn house-style that is abundant with tropical flavours and soft spice.

2014 Ex Bourbon Barrels (1st Fill) - 74%
2014 Ex Bourbon Barrels (2nd Fill) - 20%
2014 Hungarian Wine Casks - 6%

Tasting Notes:
COLOUR: Natural colour of golden honey

NOSE: Notes of Madagascan vanilla, poached pears and cracked pepper

TASTE: Toffee, honey and rich nuttiness. Vibrant yet elegant balance of honey dew melon, passion fruit, burnished citrus and sweet oak wood.
