With a first maturation in ex-bourbon, bringing creamy notes to their light and fruity spirit style, they then finish this whisky in another cask type for a second maturation. STR casks are ex-red wine casks that have been shaved, toasted and recharred, creating the perfect environment for their light and creamy whisky to draw out the delicious red fruit flavours from the wood.
Light and floral, with layers of summer berries and vanilla ice cream, there’s a sweet and oaky spiciness that hints at a fantastic glass of Spanish red wine.
Tasting Notes: Light, floral, and fruity with notes of summer berries, vanilla ice cream, orange chocolate, and toasted oak.
