Equidem is the twenty-seventh release (Mark XXVII) in the award-winning Exceptional Cask Selection series. And if you'll excuse the pun, Equidem is 'Truly' the excellent rum that experts and enthusiasts have come to expect from the team at Foursquare Rum Distillery.
Excitingly, the bottling is the first release from Foursquare to contain rum matured in ex-black muscat casks. Specifically, it is a blend of two aged rums: a dual-maturation comprising of a five year old ex-bourbon cask that enjoyed a further nine years in an ex-black muscat cask. This dual maturation was further blended with a fourteen year old ex bourbon cask matured rum.
A complex nose, silky mouthfeel and warm, lingering finish.
