Nobiliary, meaning 'Of Noble Character' is the 12th release in the Exceptional Cask Selection series.

This exceptional release is a blend of Rums distilled in the copper double retort pot still and the continuous twin column still of Foursquare and aged for 14 years in ex-bourbon casks. Presented at cask strength of 62% alcohol by volume (ABV), without chill-filtration, this genuine Barbados Rum has been fully matured at Foursquare. No sweetener, other flavour, or colour has been added

Tasting notes
Nose: Complex, enticing nose full of charred oak, dark chocolate and bitter cacao, intertwined with old leather, hints of molasses, burnt sugar and a little delicate waft of eucalyptus.
Palate: A sweet rush of oak onto the palate, with a pleasing viscosity. Hot in the mouth. Notes of dark chocolate, bitter coffee, with a strong grip of oak.
Finish: The finish remains complex and revealing. Contrasting sweet notes vye with the astringency of long years of maturation. Delicate hints of dried coconut, and milk chocolate reveal and eventually fade into a lasting dry finish.
