The Tasting Notes
On the nose, zesty Seville orange marmalade and dried apricot open up to toffee apple and dark fruit spice with notes of freshly planed oak.
The palate is rich and full bodied with fruity notes of poached pears, tropical fruit and toasted pineapple accompanied by biscuit malt and hints of marzipan, clove and anise.
The finish is long lasting with lingering notes of flamed orange peel, rich woody spice and a gentle touch of liquorice.

They have handpicked three exemplary casks of The Original that they felt truly represented their flagship style, and married them together to create this Batch 02 release which is presented at 59.5% ABV and limited to 750 bottles.
At cask strength, the fruity heart that is the defining characteristic of their unpeated double distilled style is magnified - with prominent notes of zesty Seville orange marmalade, dried apricot, toffee apple, poached pear and toasted pineapple.
